Meet Dr. Hill
Dr. Doug Hill is a native Oklahoman, born in Oklahoma City, then moving to Tulsa soon after. Upon graduation from Edison High School in 1968, he headed for Stillwater. As an undergraduate at Oklahoma State University, he was a two-year letterman of the swim team and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. Upon graduation in 1971, he and his new bride went to Texas for dental school. In 1975 he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He returned to Tulsa and in 1978 Dr. Hill opened his own dental practice where he has successfully practiced since then. Volunteering his services at Neighbor for Neighbor dental clinic has been a focus of Dr. Hill's for almost 18 years. He maintains relationships and memberships in good standing with the Tulsa County Dental Society, Oklahoma Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hill has served on the Advisory Board of the Dental Hygiene School at Tulsa Community College for 13 years.
Dr. Hill and his wife Joyce are proud to have celebrated 40 years of marriage. They are members of Asbury United Methodist Church, and enjoy being involved in their community. They have two sons: Grant, an OSU graduate, married to Christine and father of their first granddaughter Madison. And, Garrett, an OU graduate, who recently married Linda. It is a "house divided," but they wouldn't have it any other way. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends by enjoying the outdoors. He was also honored in 2010 as a 33-year runner of the Tulsa Run and plans to continue. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very important!
Dr. Hill has practiced dentistry for 36 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When asked why he became a dentist, he replied " When I got out of dental school, it was really the only thing I knew how to do." His office and dental practice has a sole mission to serve his patients with information and counsel to support the achievement of their proper dental and periodontal health.
